Website Privacy Notice
How DataKite handles personal data collected when you visit datakite.ai.
Last updated: 15 August 2026
1. Scope of this notice
This notice applies only to your visit to datakite.ai (the “Site”). It covers the personal data DataKite collects through the Site itself, and nothing else.
It does not apply to:
- the Rawi platform, or any DataKite product deployed inside a bank;
- personal data held in a bank’s own systems. Where a bank deploys Rawi, that bank is the controller of the personal data in its deployment, and the bank’s own privacy notice applies to that data;
- any DataKite customer, partner, supplier, or investor relationship, which is governed by the relevant written agreement between DataKite and that party;
- recruitment and job applications, which are covered in section 7.
2. Who we are
DataKite, Inc. (“DataKite”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. DataKite, Inc. is a Delaware corporation, incorporated in Delaware, United States, with its registered office at 108 West 13th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801, United States. For any privacy question, contact privacy@datakite.ai.
3. Information we collect
Information you submit. The Site has one form, on our contact page. When you submit it, we collect your name, work email address, company, role, the audience category you select, and your message.
Technical information. When you request a page, our hosting and content-delivery provider processes your IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, referring page, and a timestamp in server logs. We use this to deliver the Site and to protect it from abuse.
The Site has no user accounts and no login. We do not ask for, and do not want, special category data, government identifiers, payment details, or any bank customer data through it. Please do not submit them in the contact form.
4. How we use information
- Respond to your inquiry and route it to the right team.
- Operate, deliver, and secure the Site.
- Keep the records we need to meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not use anything submitted through the Site to train AI models.
If your inquiry leads to a commercial discussion, the personal data involved in that relationship is handled under the relevant written agreement between DataKite and your organisation, and falls outside this notice.
5. Legal bases
Where applicable law requires a lawful basis, we rely on legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry and in operating and securing the Site, consent where you have opted in, and compliance with legal obligations.
6. Who we share information with
We use a small number of providers to run the Site and handle inquiries:
- Cloudflare: hosting, content delivery, and edge security for datakite.ai, including the server logs described above.
- Zoho: the contact form submits to Zoho Bigin, the customer relationship management system where your inquiry is stored. The contact page also loads a form script from Zoho.
We may also disclose personal data to regulators, courts, or professional advisers where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
7. Careers and job applications
Applying for a role happens outside this Site, through either a Google Form or an email to talent@datakite.ai.
How DataKite handles candidate data as a prospective employer is not covered by this notice; for questions about candidate data, contact privacy@datakite.ai.
8. International transfers
The providers listed above operate internationally. Where personal data collected through the Site is transferred across borders, we rely on the safeguards required by applicable law.
9. Retention
We keep contact form submissions for as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and to keep a record of it, and server logs for a short period for security and operational purposes. We delete or anonymise personal data once it is no longer needed for those purposes or for a legal obligation.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and to receive a copy of it in portable form. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@datakite.ai. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection or supervisory authority.
We do not make automated decisions about you, and we do not profile visitors, through this Site.
11. Cookies
- The Site is a static site and sets no cookies of its own. It has no accounts and no login.
- Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider, sets strictly necessary cookies to deliver pages and to distinguish real visitors from automated traffic.
- The contact page loads a form script from Zoho, which may set or read cookies under Zoho’s own terms.
- The Site runs no analytics, measurement, session recording, or advertising cookies, and shows no consent banner for that reason.
- Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings.
12. Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date above.
